It was very difficult to take this shot without them. My old camera doesn’t have a timer, so I shot this with the cable realease between my teeth.
I think the next time I attempt this I should put smiley faces on them. ^_^

Dentists Advice – Simple Things You Can Do To Keep Your Teeth Healthy
Article by Aloysius Aucoin
Dentists have great advice for taking care of teeth, but we usually don’t listen. The consequences of not listening to your dentist are more visits to get more work done, and nobody wants that. In order to keep yourself out of the chair and keep your teeth healthy, here are some brushing tips that will help.
It’s Not The Toothpaste, It’s How You Brush. The ads for toothpaste tell you otherwise, but the fact is that it barely matters what type you use. Dentists always say that any toothpaste will do if you know how to use it right. In fact, just brushing with water will work if you don’t have any toothpaste on hand.
Brush Your Gums. Dentists always tell you to brush your gums as well as your teeth. It’s actually the space where the gums and teeth meet that’s the most important. This is where tartar builds up, and it doesn’t come from the foods we eat as much as from our own saliva. It builds up naturally over time whether you’re eating candy bars or apples.
Keep It Going For Two Minutes. Dentists recommend that you brush for at least two minutes. There’s nothing wrong with brushing for longer. If you’re not sure how long you’re brushing, set a timer. This will give you an idea of how long is long enough.
Floss. That’s all that really needs to be said. Dentists always tell you that you should floss twice a day, and they’re not kidding. Brushing doesn’t get the stuff out from between your teeth, and this is just as important as the surfaces. Because the spaces between are so often overlooked, this a major area where people have problems, and floss gets it taken care of.
Don’t Brush Hard. Because you want to get everything cleaned up, lots of people scrub too hard on their teeth. It’s not the force that’s important but the speed. Move the brush quickly over everything without pressing down. Pushing too hard can cause gums to bleed. The fast, rigorous motion is what gets the tartar and stuff off.
Go Electric. Dentists often recommend using electric toothbrushes. These are the kind that vibrate in a circular pattern. They not only make brushing easier, but actually help really scrub the stuff off. There are a lot of these on the market and some of them are not so great, so ask your dentist for a recommendation on what model to buy.
Do Your Own Teeth Whitening. Before you start buying fancy products from the drug store or talk to your dentist about getting teeth whitening done, ask them about some home remedies that work. These are things that people have been using for centuries to whiten their smiles. The list includes strawberries, apples, lemon juice, baking soda and more.
Make Regular Visits. When a professional tell you that you should have a check-up once every six months, they’re not just trying to get more money out of you. If you see yours on a regular basis, they can catch small problems before they become big ones, and you know what happens when they become big problems – You’re there more, paying MORE money for surgery!

Good but watch compatiblity,
We received this to replace our toothbrush that had stopped shutting off. It looked good and the brush heads are fine BUT, if your old handle has the charging plug that is round with a key slot it doesn’t fit. This handle has a sort of oval shaped plug. I spent a fair amount of time trying to make sure it would fit and it didn’t. The [...] customer service people were very accomodating in solving the problem for me.

|Saved $100,
After ten years of good service, my brush gave up the ghost. I was sure that I would need to buy a whole new kit, at a cost of nearly $100. And I would have paid it, because I’ve become spoiled by it. But, Amazon to the rescue, at one fifth the price, I’m back in business. The vendor gave great service, order arrived much sooner than expected. Thank you.

|Beats buying a whole new electric toothbrush system…,
I was skeptical about this item working with my 4 year old Oral B toothbrush charger and stand. Would a replacement fit, and was the charger broken and not that is was an original handset? WOW, the battery on the original handset was so bad my wife and I couldn’t both brush our teeth in the morning on a full charge. And because the mode of failure is so slow and happens over time, we thought it was normal that the 2nd person brushing in the morning running out of juice was normal- its not! The replacement head after fully charging had so much more power and agitation I wish we would have chucked the old unit a year ago. I also hear some people like to have a 2nd handset to keep in another bath or not have to change heads every time we brushed, but wife and I are used to the drill of removing our color head and charging handset without a toothbrush head on top.
After a lot of research on-line I realized that the battery life for a rechargeable handset was probably the problem and the way to go was figure out which mount would fit the recharger. Having an older unit the colors vary from the new models but basically the post that fits inside the handle is the same size for each manufacturer. Manufacturers don’t advertise this fact! I was ready to plop down $85 for a whole new pretty charger stand and fancy packaging when I realized the handset was replaceable and it was just a matter of researching the brand I had.
That battery charger is pretty tough to break and rarely would it fail. My method was to look at pictures and brand name and one seller had the bottom picture to show the interface to the charger. Once I had the exact mfg model number I googled it and found the parts list. After seeing the mfg parts I knew it would fit and looked on eBay and Amazon for a seller.
Definitely save yourself the purchase price of a whole replacement system when the only wear part is the handset. As a side note, I am sold on the floss action replacement heads from Oral-B. Those babies make my dentist think I’m flossing and I am not!

|Be careful!,
I bought this charger, and it won’t fit either of two Braun electric toothbrushes my wife and I own, although they were bought a different times. Be careful to check the model number and compare it with the list that’s given in one line of the description so that you don’t waste twenty bucks as I did.

|disappointment,
I ordered this part for my Braun electric toothbrush.(I travel a lot and wanted a dual voltage charger) .It arrived on time at my given address but due to circumstances I received it in Montreal two days before the 30 day return policy. Unfortunately the charger is not for the later editions of the braun (oral B) toothbrushes and the handle did not fit on the spindle. Small Appliance (the seller) was willing to give me 4 days (including weekend) to return it but I told them it would be impossible in that short time. They have not got back to me. So I am saddled with a useless charger….and out $28.00.
I guess it is my fault as well ;but I suggest you put an enquiry first before ordering parts.
